Josh + Kaitlyn - Misselwood at Endicott College - Beverly Massachusetts

I met Josh and Kaitlyn last summer for their engagement session at Boston Public Gardens. They were adorable, playful, stylish and so so sweet. I knew their wedding was going to be one for the books! And I was right.

It was the PERFECT summer day - bright and sunny, blue skies and a small breeze. One small pop up shower before showtime, unveiling a lovely little rainbow. You can’t buy a day like it. Their ceremony was in the back garden of the Misselwood Estate over looking the bay. During their vows there wasn’t a single dry eye in the crowd. The night wrapped up with a pile of fun on the dance floor and late night cookie sandwiches from the cookie monstah food truck. It was magic. Kelly + Steven

When Kelly and Steven reached out to me about their destination wedding they said they were drawn to first my work but also that my name was “Kelly Carey” and they would soon be Kelly and Steven Crowley… I laughed and exclaimed that my maiden name was actually “Stevens” and we definitely had a connection!!

I also instantly have a connection with any couple that is passionate about Mount Desert Island (MDI), Acadia National Park, and wanting a Bar Harbor wedding. It’s insanely unlikely that you can visit this magical island without it changing your life.

It was a truly magnificent day. Perfect honestly. So full of love and laughter… I would like to do it all over again!! These two are real gems and a perfect match. I can’t wait to see where life will take them! Rumor has it they’ve already stayed true to one vow and got a new puppy <3.

Granite Ridge Estate Maine Wedding // Blake and Erin live in LA and booked their wedding at Granite Ridge, site unseen!! One of my favorite quotes from the whole day was from Erin’s mom, saying “the internet really works!!” And boy, is she right…

Granite Ridge Estate is nestled in among the trees on a mountaintop in Norway, Maine, and you seriously can’t go wrong with any viewpoint you look out from. May in Maine can be unpredictable, heck the whole summer season can, but this day was perfect, perfectly warm (not too hot) the clouds rolled back to some beautiful blue skies after the ceremony, and there wasn’t a hiccup the entire day.

I have so so SO much love for Blake + Erin, and I’m forever grateful they chose me to document their day! Scroll on down for a few of my favorites from the wedding goodness!

Michelle + Bryant

Michelle and Bubs got married in the beautiful western Maine mountain side at Stone Mountain Arts Center.  After a month of below average temps, the clouds cleared away and gave us a glorious day.  These 2 met 8 years ago when the maid of honor introduced them... most likely with more than friendship on her mind.  It only took them a few more years to figure it out and I am so glad they did!  The day was flawless.  Filled with love and laughs and some soggy eyes.  My favorite.  I loved everything about this wedding, this day and especially this couple.  Cheers to a billion years, Mr and Mrs Portwine!  XOXO

What a pleasure to get out and take a little hike with Jacob and Juan last weekend.  We were in the middle of this cold snap but for whatever reason Mother Nature loosened up and gave us some warmer temps and a gorgeous sunset.  These 2 are super sweet and so fun!  I absolutely can't wait for the wedding!  Please enjoy a few of my favorites!

Kennebunkport during Christmas Prelude is pretty magical.. then you throw in this gorgeous couple.  Wow.  I had the best time hopping around town with these 2 last weekend.  They are sweet and so easy to be around.  And their love shines bright.  I Cannot wait for the wedding early next summer!  2018 is going to be amazing!!

Amy and Blaine!!!!  Gooooooodnessss... what a way to wrap up this years wedding season.  My cup overflows.  I am so excited to share some of my favorite moments from their day. <3  They are a sweet and loving couple and the LOVE surrounding them by their friends and family could wrap around the Earth and Moon a thousand times.  Every detail was thoughtful and unique.  Willowdale is a gorgeous stone estate and full of so much character, it was such a delight!  I am so thankful to have been a little part of your story, Amy and Blaine.. Ali and Christian.  The sweetest couple on Earth.  Neither one of them are native to Maine but will soon both be living in this great state.. it was SO much fun showing them around the Old Port and a few of my favorite spots.  They are effortless around each other.. silly, sweet.. just the best.  I simply cannot wait for the wedding!  <3

I have been chatting with Alyssa for months and when we finally met for their engagement session last weekend, I felt like we were already long time friends.  But I think that is just how these 2 are.. their smiles are infectious and they are so much fun to be around!!  We managed to have the park and the Old Port all to ourselves!!  Which is what happens when you get up with the sunrise!  I loved every minute with you Alyssa and Trevor!  I can't wait for the wedding!!

Chris + Ellen

Chris and Ellen are engaged!!  We met for their engagement session over the weekend and had an absolute BLAST.  They chose Portland Headlight since that is where they got engaged and it was so sweet listening to them re-enact how it all went down.  These two are SO much fun to be around and I simply cannot wait for their 2018 wedding!!  Here is a little preview from our adventure! <3

Melissa is from Maine but met Ryan down south while in school.. while they live down south now together they decided to get married in Maine and I am SO glad they did.  What a pleasure getting to know these two and all of their adoring friends and family.  The sweet southern accents melted me all day!

They brought some of the south with them as they put together an unbelievably fun country wedding.. cowboy boots, antlers (from their own collection!) and music you can really get down to.  It was such a pleasure being part of your celebration, Melissa and Ryan!!  Let's do it again next weekend, OK!?

I have known Michelle for a long time.. we have seen each other through SO much!! BUT.. seeing her with Bryant is my personal favorite.  GLOWING.  LOVE.

What a fun romp around the Old Port!  Beautiful couple, beautiful scenery and the best dang sunset of the summer!  What a joy.  I can't wait for the wedding guys!!  LOVE YOU!!

Katie and Collin.  This day was an absolute dream.  From the moment I met these two they wrapped me up in their love and made me feel like we have been friends forever.  I loved everything about their magical wedding.  The views, the flowers, their friends and families, all the sweet littles, the LEATHER jackets, the silly fun and all the open mouth smiles.  I am so in love with my job.  Katie and Collin were wed on a private estate in Seal Harbor that absolutely took my breath away.  Their reception followed in this rustic boatyard directly on Seal Harbor Bay.  They surprised their guests with a beautiful display of fireworks.  This is a day I will not soon forget.  All. The. Magic.

Taylor + Shane

I had a blast with Shane and Taylor one night last week.. strolling through the foggy coastline.  They live in California but are getting married here in Maine next year!  We got lucky with timing and got an engagement shoot in while they were here visiting!  They are fun and silly..
